	Dr Lee Su Lan joined forces with an aspiring group of doctors in October 2005 to form the Singapore Society of Aesthetic Medicine. One of the main aims of the Society is to facilitate the development of Aesthetic Medicine in Singapore and fellowship of Aesthetic doctors in Singapore and the region. In November 2006, the Society conducted a very successful congress which was attended by more than 500 delegates.

	THE SYY STORY
	Today the SYY Group is one of the leading Aesthetic Medical practices in Singapore. Our founder and current President of the Society of Aesthetic Medicine is Dr Lee Su Lan. Our story began in 1992 when a patient asked Dr Lee, who was then a psychiatrist, if there was a solution for her freckles. To help her patient, Dr Lee prescribed a cream, which she herself was using at the time. This chance encounter led to the development of SYY and marked a new era for Aesthetic Medicine in Singapore. In the early 90s, Aesthetic Medicine was at its infancy. Our team became one of the pioneers in this field. During this period, when laser and light technology were not in vogue, we formulated a wide range of corrective topical solutions for different skin types, currently marketed under the SYY-exclusive brands of SYY Clinic, Aileen Lee, Skin Club and Charles & Aileen. .
